An experiment of depth light and colour. Inspired by Sol Lewitt’s All One, Two, Three, and Four Part Combinations of Lines in Four Directions and Four Colors, Each Within a Square (1983), I constructed a 3D version of his superimpositions. By using thread on the surface of a cube which I then placed on a rotating pedestal, I could observe how depth and colour collaborated at different angles. I also added the variable of showering the sculpture in different combinations of RGB lights. The result was recorded, and the above images are snapshots from that video.
